“Macho” “cool” “sexy” bonehead who doesn’t know how to govern, has run the state into a very large ditch. The “governor” got “help” –from Legislature –from over 70% of Californians who fell for his manipulation, voted for him.

Stupid bankers and their mortgage morass put entire country -world on the brink of economic collapse and: when the money stopped flowing, exposed Ahrmpit’s incompetence, arrogance.

–He wanted the job so he could immitate his idol, aldolph hitler, and “…lead the little people, like he did…95% need to be told what to do, I want to lead the little people, tell them what to think -do….”

Not ‘macho’ enough to stand in his Party’s Primary for election, he couldn’t have stood the competition. –But using his ‘actor’ skills, Jay Leno, anger over car tax hike of Gov. Davis, the media and Oprah: he was inserted into the seat by pals. Pals like Ken Lay of ENRON funded, helped him so he could:
‘protect’ Ken Lay from exposure for fraud and from returning $11 Billion bucks Lay extorted/stole from Californians –settle lawsuit filed by then-Gov. Davis against ENRON.

As soon as the foolish voted Ahrmpit into office: he “accepted” $.05 for every $1 ENRON owed Californians –killed the lawsuit.  If Ahrmpit hadn’t done that and other things: California would not be in dire deficit now.

What Now?
There are several things we, Californians, can do to take responsibility –fix this mess.

Remedies such as:

• Legislature:  entire body should become part-time representatives –and slash their salary IN HALF –saving multi-millions; only ONE car -related expenses per rep; expense account cut to $200. per year; their pension should be reviewed, revised
• Budget:  state must ‘live’ on what its got –just like every person everywhere; 1. determine:  lowest possible income next three years; pass legislation:  to 2. Remove ALL laws requiring specific per cent of state’s budget be spent for whatever; then divvy up the actual revenue throughout, as usual; 3. some portion:  put aside each year, use in bad years, and savings to bring up /improve bond rating other years
• Prison, Jail:  each prisoner should have to pay for their incarceration –’room & board’ –by in-house work or by family payment, so food:  zero cost to state, partial payment of guards; Guards:  cut salary, cut guards; un-used structures in remote areas:  earn revenue –rent out –take in prisoners from other states
• Education:  not even one K-12 school should be built until full audit of all completed; actual need assessed, determined –whenever
•  Parents of each school:  should come together, determine what their child’s school lacks, needs; e.g., classroom supplies -textbooks -paint -tutoring; form committee, assign tasks, make a money & time budget; raise funds, e.g. block yard sales, pancake sales, apply for Stimulus funds, etc., get involved –across all parts of school; parents to rotate -spend time in classroom each week
• Boards:  Studies –surveys –single-issue boards, etc:  jobs handed out to political cronies, as reward.  Either: shut down all or ask those ’serving’ to accept $100. per year –or $1. for the wealthy cronies
• Fire Fighters:  audit ALL fires past few years –determine Precisely why fire fights run into millions –item by item; 2. heavily-wooded -mountain fires:  stop using water –costly planes, chemicals –use: bull-dozers & earth to quell fire; 3.  Permits to build in a fire zone:  fee should have fire-fighting cost attached, e.g. additional $100,000.  –no payment, no Permit –no structure allowed; 4.  Major fire: after basic fire-fighter complement, additional fire fighters should be prisoners, at Minimum Wage, not fire-fighters
• Ballot:  no petition –proposition –amendment –nothing on a future ballot shall include a fixed portion of the state’s budget to be spent
• Entire state goverment:  should be stream-lined, most of it dumped and re-written
• Judges:  all judges, throughout state, should have salary cut –at least 25% and pension also –no judge is worth quarter million bucks
• Elections:  it should be illegal to hold an election besides Primary and General –no more “special” elections –e.g., this election:  cost Los Angeles 28 million bucks; My view:  Bond issues –only property owners should be allowed to vote –not renters, e.g., people who rent:  vote for LAUSD stupid bonds –renters don’t have to pay, property owners do = unfair
• Bonds:  bond funding Michael J. Fox’s research –re-written –state should be sole holder of any patents arising from research, receive majority of any royalties
• Voters:  1.  Grow up, take voting seriously; do homework –read Voter Pamphlet –fine print, websites, newspaper –ignore manipulation, watch debates. 2. If you want to put Serious Fear into politician:  show up –encourage or drag friends -family -co-workers -neighbors to the polls –lots of voters scares the hell outta reps, means people are watching.   3. State: When you voted “For” Term Limits for reps:  it meant that a Short while after rep figured out how to make things happen –they have to leave office, ergo NOBODY around to look out for Long Term interests of state –of voters, disabled, wealthy –nobody –of financials, economy; so who is left?  Lobbyists –they are in charge, they take up the ’space’ –influence the newbies; lobbyists never leave town, so:  wise up –we need to REMOVE Term Limits from state Legislature –believe it.
• Taxes:  don’t want to put more into the ‘pot’?  Then:  1.  Use our assets –jack up the cost –steep fee on our natural wilderness –and allow drilling, far off-shore at steep cost.  2. Pass a bill -file suit, whatever, but:  get the Tribal gambling Compacts RE-WRITTEN –at Far better revenue to the state –and immediately
• Media:  state Legislature should pass a bill to require all local TV in California to offer FREE air time to run campaign ads –if people don’t have to raise millions to run, all offices open to all, not just to millionairs, fat cat back room boys with a Proposition; it’s OUR air waves, media makes money off FREE air, they should give back
• Governor:  in the “Grow Up” category: we don’t need the next governor to be
  “sexy” “cute” “macho” –no stinking cigars, business predators, actors.   –We need press: to Grow Up, get off their ’sound bite’ mentality/to ignore the mainstream media bias. –We need Experienced -smart -wise -fiscally responsible –KNOWS how to work with others –look out for the long term -wealthy & poor, working & disabled -the environment –Get Things Done –govern smart, and to keep his hands and zipper closed.  No, not ‘golden boy’ –we need the Golden State restored. Yup, I’ll say it:  we need Attorney General, former Jesuit student -governor Jerry Brown to govern this state –again, ASAP.

SITUATION California massive projected budget shortfalls–
2009: $15 billion and 2010: $25 billion
REMEDIES: at the end

How did the Golden state get tarnished into this sorry state –into massive debt –into race to the bottom “… tied with Louisiana for last place on the [bond] ratings scale” –Los Angeles Times, Jan. 21, 2009?

What happened? I was educated –beginning to end in California schools. While I was there my high school was ranked: in top ten in the US. But this mess will mean: less –of Every thing, no more Golden state. How did we get this giant mess?

Blame –Indians?
California Indian tribes, after fighting federal government more than a century with little to show for it, decided best way to make money: gambling . So what, if Indians make money off people who pump their pay -Social Security checks into tribes’ cash cows –and become addicted. Tribes wanted their own casinos –provide education -health coverage -independence for their people –share with non-casino tribes. Tribes like people who gamble.

Tribes got some permission from state Legislature –and more -more -more by using their/your money to make sob appeals to voters, who voted “yes” on whatever tribes asked –without reading the details.

Fine print
Gambler or hotel guest:  problem -dispute –injury –need ambulance? Too bad. California, consumer protection laws: don’t apply on tribal land. Tribes decide: rights –if/how much they will pay –you if you’re injured –the state, audits Not allowed huh???

Tribes Don’t Want
Money poured in, tribes got wealthy, but now: Minimum Wage –annoying environmental, endangered species protection –Workers Comp –‘intrusive’ taxation –share the pie with non-casino tribes, casino communities or California NOPE. Oops.

–California courts? You/we already lost right to sue them.

Skipping over details of screwing competition , tribes do want: More –Bigger –Video gambling (already ruled illegal) –and ANYwhere. So five wealthiest tribes put money into Propositions –governor –Legislature –TV ads, non-stop. –Negotiated new compacts with the ‘governor’ in 2008.

Triple-size casinos –Age restriction lowered to 18 –All types of gambling –Pay California less than any other tribal gambling state gets. There was outrage –demand compacts be re-written. Too late? Oops. Thank Ahnold.

Now that all the lids are off –no way to stop them, You won’t mind a casino, huge one, in your community –paying state, locals peanuts, right?

Crisis Because of –Illegals?
People who over-stay their visa -don’t go home after college graduation -enter US illegally: are, usually, desperate to earn money –any amount. Since Somebody has to pick lettuce, write code, build houses, clean toilets, haul cargo, cook restaurant food, trim trees, fix computers, baby-sit –Why not hire illegal bargain.

Deal
Illegals: earn less than the going rate, good for hungry restaurants -dirty homes -broken cars, but then: can’t pay for other stuff, like health care. When they get sick enough, have infants they can’t pay for: they pop into emergency rooms; Social Services office.

Welfare?
Illegals can’t get Food Stamps or welfare –believe it: photo –fingerprints prevent. Except: California/we pay for birth –whether the mother here legally or not. –That’s humane, ‘reasonable’? Unlike any other country, a baby born in the US: becomes a citizen –instantly. Huge incentive: enter, remain illegally? Duh

I’ve heard those here illegaly: cost the state 5 billion bucks a year. I don’t know if –translators for courts, schools, police –printing ballots, tests, etc., –search -capture -victim -insurance -incarcerated gang member, illegal criminal reimbursement included.

I do know: seven hospitals in Los Angeles have closed past five years –busted by unpaid, un-reimbursed bills. Oh well You won’t have heart attack/freeway crash -need any emergency care, right?

Blame –Unions?
California Correctional Peace Officers Association –the benefits and the bank accounts. Prison guard union:  “…considered to be one of the most powerful political forces in Sacramento….”  –With fear & loathing by the Legislature.

Not interested –in rehabilitation, to ease massive over-crowding costing state major bucks in fines –in mainstreaming, to reduce ex-offender bounce-back, costing All.  Union: Only more ‘get tough’ stuff –manipulation for more guards, more pay.

Macho? They guard the already shackled – behind bars –how is that more dangerous/worth more pay than any street cop’s job? –More guards than cops???

But ‘Gubber’ Ahnold: gave guards fat raises –plus deals on future raises: he had to retract when state’s revenue and expenses –and exposure, hit the ‘fan.’ –A Judge ordered “governor” to change the contracts –the salary raises –the political ‘fine’ print that would have given guards even more.

–You can’t talk to your state rep? They can’t talk to prison guard union. Oh well.

–Teachers?
Feel sorry for “poorly paid” teachers? Really? California family average income: $36,500. LAUSDistrict basic teacher with a BA salary: $45,637 –to $73,900 a year –plus medical coverage –full health benefits.

In many places all over the world: 50 to 200 students per class is usual, with grateful students. –Union: wants class size under 30, but doesn’t have proof smaller classes equal better education.

Smaller class size hasn’t changed: more than 50% quit California schools –without diploma or training. –Many can’t read –write, spell when they do graduate –aren’t educated enough for college or corporate world. But illiterate do fit/shoe-horned into: over-crowded jails, prisons.

–Union never met a bad teacher: process to fire lousy/ inept/ dumb/abusive one so convoluted, takes over five years –at full salary, whether they teach during the investigation or not. Oh oops

Enrollment: falling 20% a year, past ten years/ next ten years: but Keep all the current teachers anyway? Union: Yup.

Schools?
LAUSD Bored: destroyed last important LA landmark, Ambassador Hotel –pandered to Hispanic parents –for politics, but hotel into rubble exposed Toxic Waste = no school, oh oops.

More? LAUSD Bored: sitting on tons of cash –and now-vacant land –homes seized -destroyed, for more schools; given to them by Ill-informed -Newly-arrived -Renters –Keep on voting “yes” on bonds –to build schools. Bored board happy: they Like money, power and monument to their stupidity –marble-clad lavish headquarters, built on taxpayer money.

Teacher’s Union –mandatory, has dough, political clout: to pay Union bosses’ fat salary –get law so convoluted, nobody at state level has control over California schools. –Believe it, I’ve watched hours of hearings.

Neither –Can’t get it up: not enough textbooks in poor neighborhoods.

You don’t own a business –or want to, so no need for educated programmers, clerks –anyone. –You don’t mind –paying more taxes for: un-needed schools –self-serving board members –excess teachers, not stopping drop-out rate –more cops, guards when illiterate opt in for crime to earn a living, right?  Just go with hope –your doctor -future mate -vet was educated –in another state.

“A” and “C” lived in a state where: “D” was steamed at being cheated. –Cheated Big by “E” –slick liar, thief who loved money –so much he cheated employees -customers -community –investors –Wall Street –everybody his ‘meat’ to get more. • Sudden Multi-million dollar gifts to Jewish organizations:
   All that is known -all there is to know about nazis –but admires them, wanted covered up

How did California get into crisis? 

We got into this massive debt crisis because: You
–over 70% of ‘charmed’ Californians thought it would be ‘cool’

–Ahnold as governor.

If –You, others had merely looked up his history –not voted for a nazi-lover: Contracts with Indians that short-change state –NOT. –Illegals cramming hospitals, schools, prisons –NOT.  –Fat raises, half of budget given over to guards –NOT.  –$400 million last year, $5 million cut this year from Education –NOT.  Bloated Legislature salaries -his cronies on boards –NOT.  Deception -Imbalance –NOT. 

Some, any rational policy on illegals -New revenue -Cautious distribution -Efficiency???  NOT.  Chose:  amateur to represent you in government –on “sexy.”  Way not smart.

Cut money: to children –to mentally disabled –to physically disabled.  Ahrmpit’s salary: over $175,000 a year, claims he gives it to charity.  –So why did he make fat personal deal to endorse a vitamin –while in office, canceled only on voter outrage? Meanwhile next month’s Disability payment –cut –YOU want to live on $280 bucks –any month?

Permanent REMEDY:

• Think for yourself –daVine
• Ignore manipulation –daVine
• Do your homework on people -issues –READ entire proposition –daVine
• Don’t vote “For” ANY Proposition/per cent of state’s budget –daVine

It costs millions to get a Proposition on the ballot, millions more for media manipulation –’selling’ you on “benefits.”  Who has that kind of money and financial gain at stake?  Corporations.  Read ALL the fine print before vote.

First the Good News:  Prop B –”solar energy” and “jobs” FAILED.  Bad News:  nearly 50% of the people who voted –didn’t notice or didn’t have a problem with changing the City’s Charter –and voted “Yes” on it.  Why?  How did this Mess get on the ballot?  

Eric Garcetti, sitting on LA City Council, promised “open public debate” on solar energy.  Then he received a year-long assessment report of the project that examined all aspects –which came back negative.  Garcetti:  withheld the report from the other 14 Council members –but called the vote to put the project on the ballot –at a late night meeting, without any Council or public debate or even discussion, and he made it an Amendment to the Charter –not a regular bill.

The report concluded

• DWP isn’t capable of administering any new plans –they have YET to deal with crumbling, frayed existing infrastructure
• The “Plan” is poorly constructed; has insufficient oversight
• The ONLY people who wil get “new jobs” will be members of the union –no others will be sub-contracted or allowed to work
• No Plan for where the solar panels will go, which structures will receive
• Cost of “solar energy” will be north of $400 Million –with no cut off/end, so it could run indefinitely
• He wrote the “Plan” as an Amendment to the City Charter:  no one would be able to un-do it or remove it from the Charter
• City would not have detailed control of the project, the union management would be in control –since DWP has already demonstrated they aren’t capable of handling what they have to contend with currently

Nearly HALF–not all union members, they would wind up with more people in the union–of the people who went to the polls:  voted “FOR” this disasterous MESS, obviously without doing any homework.

–You didn’t get any of this from local media?  Hmm, guess KTLA:  too busy shouting –blathering about “celebrities” and local hangouts, yup that’s ‘helpful’; KCBS/KCAL –busy with aw gosh fuzzy animal “news” –LA Times owner Zell:  intent on slashing jobs, budget to give a damn about excellence, investigative –or actual reporting; sly Fox Noise: wouldn’t know a hard news story if it hit their heads and anyway that would ruin cleavage shots of the, uh, news readers; public TV manager KCET:  semi-deranged and busy banging his tin cup for donations to even Notice local news; KABC giggling bobble-heads way busy ’selling’ weather and stupid stories –and you don’t mind, right?  –”Celebrats”doings far more important than fulfilling their mandate to Inform/watch government, right?  Oh well.

Why did Garcetti do those things?  The City is in debt nearly $500 Million –We just had an election in November, another one will be in May, so Why –a Third election in SIX months?  Were they hoping:  MOST people would not show up to vote; most would not do their homework = an easy win, for insiders –So onto the ballot it went.  But why do it at all?  He and Tony V., mayor, want future careers –don’t want to piss off any unions, who could make their future, uh, unhappy. 

–Eric Garcetti likes his $150,000+ a year job and wants to keep on being a career politician,, so he got fellow Council members to put lifting Term Limits on the ballot.  –Plenty of voters smelled the rat:  Garcetti “forgot” to include “Mayor” and “Controller” in the Limits lift, so maybe the Best Controller Los Angeles has ever had, Laura Chick –would be out of job. 

–No pain to Garcetti:  Laura Chick spent a LOT of time doing stuff like fraud/waste audits on the City –on departments –on projects –on oops, expense reports of City Council members, annoying stuff.  Oh well.

When they finished their ‘work’ on Garcetti and Mayor V:  the union bosses moved on to their next potential road-snag:  “Controller.”  So who wanted Chick’s job? –You’ve seen Wendy Greuel –all over TV, past two weeks –every channel, in prime time.  Where did she get all that money for all those campaign ads?  Aw c’mon, haven’t you kept up so far?  Greuel:  Oops also “forgot” to add “Controller” to lifting Term Limits –but not hers –while she sits on City Council.  Oops.

So:  –Lousy local media that doesn’t investigate or even inform –NOT many “voters” –ignorant, uninformed people –who “owe” their residency to same ethnic ‘leader’? –don’t do their own their homework go to polls –in an election inserted between two others, guaranteeing light turn-out –career politicians who pass bills late nights without public debate –involvement or even knowledge and TaDa~  The Worst thing put on an LA ballot:  Prop B –”solar energy”and bloated union jobs nearly passed. 

What will Mayor V.  do next? 
He Told us:  LA should be an open City –for people here illegally.  He told us:  if we just vote “for” the Telephone Tax –he would charge “only 9%” –when a judge had Already told him/City: ANY amount of tax was illegal, but people voted to tax their own/and Your telephones anyway, starting ten days after the election last year.  –Any/All Future telephone “things” will also be taxed –forever. Oh well?

He failed –so far –if results hold, to deliver your money to the union.  But Mayor V:  wants to Govern you –from Sacramento.  So what’s next?

Well the fastest-rising Party in Los Angeles:  appears to be “S” Party –”S” for stupid.  At least Half the people still living in LA will, no doubt, “help” Tony try to get to Sacramento.  If he can figure out how to keep his pants zipped –long enough, with help from the Stupid maybe he’ll get there.

Me?  daVine Remedy:  I’m going to start researching census data and Google maps –for someplace Else to live.  The Stupid Party:  too big to overcome.  –Nobody can afford what’s going to happen to Los Angeles, with insiders like Garcetti, and his cash cows, the “developers” who made Southern California the 2nd highest place of foreclosures in the nation, jammed our freeways, ignored scarce water resources, twisted local government to Their benefit. 

ALL of us should have had Enough of “council” members and insiders.  Oh well.  Hold onto your money and your vote.  –Mayor V. can’t get to Sacramento without help.  –Getting rid of Garcetti:  going to take more work….  Hey Eric:  what are the Addresses of those “ten new schools” you claim you got built, in your TV ads?  –Addresses of the “senior housing” claim you built?  While we wait for those:  how about some names –of the “10,000 who got jobs (you) brought to LA”?  –Where ARE all those jobs???  We’ll wait right here.
